This asynchronous training is adapted from the Addressing Substance Use in Alaska - Rural ECHO mini series. The course integrates recorded ECHO sessions with self-paced learning activities, including knowledge checks, supplemental resources, and guided reflection. Participants will explore culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and evidence-based strategies for addressing substance use in rural Alaska, with a focus on practical solutions that improve access, engagement, and recovery outcomes.
This training centers lived experience, cultural humility, and community wisdom, with the goal of equipping learners with actionable tools and deeper understanding to improve service delivery, foster collaboration, and advance equity in rural Alaska.
